Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including pediatrics, senior care, and acute care environments. This role involves collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality medical services, manage patient treatment plans, and support overall patient wellness. The Nurse Practitioner will play a vital role in ensuring effective healthcare delivery tailored to diverse patient populations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across age groups, including pediatrics and senior care
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with medical guidelines
- Manage patient care plans, including case management for complex cases such as dementia or home care patients
- Perform procedures and medication administration
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner for documentation and order entry
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
Requirements
Fluent in Punjabi or Hindu to deal with majority immigrant population.
Able to work on Tues and Thurs and Saturdays
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice in the state
- Experience working with children, seniors, or in hospital settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and laboratory procedures
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
- Strong background in patient care, nursing practices, and case management
- Experience in specialized areas such as pain management, dementia care, assisted living, or home care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in diverse clinical environments
Pay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
