Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that all food served meets our high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook food items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness standards at all times
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with the food industry and restaurant operations is a plus
