Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Contract Duration: July 27th - August 21st (4 WEEKS)

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the AP Clerk will play an important role in supporting the accounts payable function by ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with internal departments and external vendors, you will help maintain organized financial records while meeting tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation prior to processing.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items.
- Prepare and process payments while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and electronic filing systems.
- Respond professionally to vendor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Support month-end accounts payable activities and assist with other accounting duties as required.
- Ensure company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures are consistently followed.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting support role and enjoys working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. You have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision. A diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn new accounting systems quickly.
