Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Plant Operator to join our growing production team. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth, consistent production while maintaining the highest standards of quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre‑operation checks on equipment to ensure proper start‑up and safe operation.
- Inspect machine components using micrometers, rulers, and other measuring tools to verify production parameters are met.
- Monitor machinery during operation and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Conduct routine in‑process quality checks, including visual inspections, measurements, and verification against product standards.
- Identify, document, and report quality deviations or equipment issues to the maintenance and supervisory teams.
- Assist Lead Operators with equipment start‑up, shutdown, and cleaning of production lines.
- Operate hand tools and equipment to support manufacturing processes.
- Load and unload raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts to prepare and transport raw materials (as certified).
- Record production and quality data accurately for audits, traceability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow established quality procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure equipment performance, product quality, and production targets are achieved.
- Support housekeeping and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complies with all company safety regulations, procedures, and safe work practices at all times.

Qualifications
- WHMIS Certification (preferred).
- Forklift license and 1-2 years forklift experience (preferred).
- 1-2 years experience in food manufacturing or industrial manufacturing.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Shift Details
- Rotating shifts (including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends).
- Flexibility is required to support production needs.

- Forklift: 2 years (preferred)
