What You'll Be Doing
- Completing interactive online and instructor-led training (paid full-time training)
- Earning workplace certifications
- Building practical workplace skills
- Exploring careers that match your interests with one-on-one career coaching and ongoing mentorship
- Completing a paid 10-week work placement with a local employer providing hands-on learning connected to your area of interest
- Developing professional references
- Preparing for long-term employment
Training is provided at no cost to eligible participants. Participants receive a training stipend during the learning portion of the program and transition to paid employment during their work experience.
Additional Supports Available
We understand that starting a new career can come with challenges.
Eligible participants may also receive support for:
- Transportation or mileage
- Internet or data access
- Safety footwear
- Required work clothing
- Other participation supports based on individual needs
Support is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years of age
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number
- Live in Northumberland County, Peterborough/Peterborough County, or Quinte West
- Be out of school (not attending secondary or post-secondary education)
- Be unemployed or underemployed at the time of registration (eligibility assessed individually)
