Emsco Ltd is and has been for many years a leading electric motor repair facility in eastern Ontario that has serviced our customers both in our shop and onsite in our customers facilities. We strive to keep our customers equipment running to ensure that they can keep production running for all shifts.
Responsiblities:
- Motor rewinding - single phase and three phase motors is required. Ability to wind DC motors would be preferred.
- Ability to inspect windings and complete repairs, such as replacing lead wires, repair damaged wires, locate grounds and repair, etc.
- Understand AC/DC motor connections and schematics.
- Complete motor inspections and testing.
- On call and after hours services required.
- Complete all mechanical inspections and testing.
- Mechanical removal/disassembly or inspection of equipment at customer sites.
- .Test, rebuild, refurbish and repair electric motors AC and DC, pumps, fans, reducers, etc.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by management.
- Good communication skills and writing skills.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
- 2-3 years of related industrial work experience.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with the ability to follow directions.
- Able to lift/position heavy motor components as required.
