WE ARE SEEKING AN HR PROFESSIONAL!
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resource Manager will lead day-to-day HR operations while providing administrative support for the company.
Responsibilities
As Human Resources Manager, reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you'll get to:
- New Talent Identification & Acquisition; assisting with creating and posting job opportunities, candidate sourcing, interviews, reference checks, employee offers, while also working closely with Management at all levels to identify talent and develop growth pathways
- Support in scheduling and delivering new hire onboarding training sessions, and collaborate closely with Executive leadership & payroll to ensure new hire onboarding is completed accurately and timely.
- Maintaining accurate personnel records filing, managing sensitive and confidential information and being a point person for inquiries for HR related information and issues.
- Processing Atlantic Immigration Program applications & additional IRCC documentation, and employment letters.
- Leading Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHSC) programs, assisting payroll with benefits management, as well as Workers Compensation Board paperwork.
What we’re looking for:
- Undergraduate degree; certificate or diploma in HR Management
- At least 4-6 years experience in progressive Human Resources positions, working with large teams of 500+ employees
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a must
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- A commitment to confidentiality & employment standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
