We are looking for a Fit Model for Medium Men’s Apparel to support the development and fit evaluation of MEC apparel.
This is not an employee role. This is an independent contractor opportunity with fit sessions scheduled on an as-needed basis at our Vancouver office. Fit models play an important role in the apparel development process. In this role, you will help our Product Development, Design, and Technical Design teams evaluate the fit, comfort, movement, and performance of garments throughout the design and development cycle.
As a MEC Fit Model, you will support fit sessions by:

Participating in apparel fit sessions with our Product Development, Design, and Technical Design teams.

Trying on a variety of apparel products, including activewear, outerwear, base layers, and other technical garments.

Changing garments throughout fit sessions as needed.

Standing and moving for extended periods while garments are assessed.

Providing clear and constructive feedback on fit, comfort, mobility, and garment performance.

Supporting the product team in maintaining consistent fit standards across MEC apparel collections.

Allowing photos to be taken during fit sessions for internal fit evaluation and documentation purposes only. Faces will be obscured or cropped to protect privacy.
We are looking for individuals whose body measurements closely align with our Medium Men’s Apparel fit standards, within a tolerance of approximately plus or minus ½ inch.

Available for fit sessions on an ongoing, as-needed basis.

We are looking for fit models who can be available on an ongoing basis for:

2 to 4 hours per session.

Weekly or bi-weekly sessions, as needed.

Ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, based on current cross-functional team schedules.
We understand schedules vary and are open to working with candidates to find mutually suitable times.All fit sessions are scheduled on an as-needed basis, with a minimum session length of approximately 2 hours.
This is an independent contractor engagement. Successful candidates will submit invoices for completed fit sessions and will be responsible for any applicable taxes, business registration requirements, or other contractor obligations.The anticipated hourly rate range is $20 to $40 per hour. The exact rate will depend on the successful candidate’s relevant skills, experience, location and qualifications
