G Class Driver – Belleville, ON
(Minimum 2 years of 5 ton truck experience required)
Rate: $26.66 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Cardinal Couriers is currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This role involves loading deliveries into a company vehicle and following a designated route to ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that includes driving, lifting, and handling packages to ensure damage-free delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a timely and accurate manner
- Load and unload packages onto the assigned vehicle
- Ensure pre 8:00 AM delivery targets are met
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Safely operate company equipment at all times
- Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and promptly to the Night Supervisor or Operations Manager
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
Qualifications:
- Valid G Class driver’s licence (minimum 2 years)
- Minimum 2–3 years of commercial driving experience (5 ton truck required)
- Clean driver abstract and CVOR
- Clear criminal record check
- Previous warehouse/shipping experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable, independent, and organized
