- Be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar
- Be fully proficient in both French and English, orally and in writing
- Have experience or knowledge of various regulatory law aspects related to trademark law, such as Canadian packaging and labelling requirements as well as Quebec French language requirements (an asset)
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of the trademark registration process in Canada and of the various administrative proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board of CIPO
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while meeting deadlines with rigor
- Show initiative, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and autonomy
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, thoroughness, and attention to detail
