Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bridal Seamstress and Fitter to join our specialized team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for bridal fashion, exceptional sewing skills, and the ability to customize wedding gowns to meet each bride's unique vision. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with clients, ensuring their wedding attire fits perfectly and reflects their personal style. Responsibilities
- Fitting/pinning bridal and formal gowns
- Alter and tailor bridal gowns, veils, and accessories to achieve precise fit and style specifications.
- Conduct fittings with brides, providing expert advice on alterations and adjustments.
- Measure clients accurately using standard sewing and fitting techniques.
- Make pattern adjustments and sew alterations using various sewing techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace with proper handling of sewing tools and materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bridal seamstress or fitter, with a strong portfolio of completed work.
- Proficiency in sewing techniques, pattern making, and garment fitting.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for brides during fittings.
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a client-focused environment.
- Prior experience working with wedding dress fabrics and delicate materials is preferred but not mandatory.
