Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards. Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper sanitation practices in all kitchen areas
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience highly valued
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Basic understanding of serving protocols and meal presentation techniques is a plus
- Food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential
Pay: $15.77-$23.02 per hour
