Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized physiotherapy services focused on pelvic health, helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and regain quality of life.
You'll be working alongside a Chiropractor who treats a lot of pregnant women and newborns. Many of these patients also seek out pelvic floor physiotherapy, so you would have built-in referrals immediately.
Duties
- Assess and diagnose patients with pelvic floor dysfunction through comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on pelvic health, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Document patient progress accurately in medical records while maintaining confidentiality.
- Stay current with advancements in pelvic health physiotherapy through ongoing professional development.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or interns as needed.
