Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Temporary Fence & Sod Installer. This role involves assisting with the installation of temporary fencing and sod, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related tasks, with experience in various building and installation processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of temporary fencing according to project specifications
- Prepare work sites by measuring, marking, and setting up materials using hand tools and power tools
- Lay sod accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper alignment and soil preparation
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation or material handling
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or landscaping preferred; experience with fencing or sod installation is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Valid Drivers License and able to drive 1 ton trucks
