Job Title: HVAC Technician
Pay: $35-55 per hour, depending on experience

Marmot Home Comfort is seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate can be either an 4th year apprentice or journeyperson, with hands-on experience servicing & installing residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.

Role:
- Full time position focused on residential and light commercial service & installation
- Install a wide range of HVAC heating and cooling equipment
- Capability to work as a lead technician
- Sheet metal experience is a bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and install residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform start-ups and test system functionality and safety
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Ensure all work meets local codes and manufacturer specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Utilize our software (ServiceTitan) for scheduling, dispatch and completing job documentation accurately
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson or 4th-year apprentice or Journeyman certification in refrigeration, gas, plumbing, electrical or sheet metal is preferred
- Experience in HVAC system service & installation
- Sheet metal experience is a bonus
- Resides in Nanaimo area
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
