Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Vehicle Delivery & Pick Up Driver to join our Turo car sharing platform. This role involves transporting vehicles to and from designated locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to work independently while contributing to a seamless vehicle sharing experience.
Duties
- Deliver vehicles to customers at specified locations, ensuring prompt and professional service
- Pick up vehicles from customers or designated sites, verifying vehicle condition upon collection
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after delivery to identify any damages or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including mileage and vehicle condition reports
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and vehicle instructions
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation activities
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customer use upon delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving or professional transportation roles
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling vehicles or related equipment
- Strong communication skills for clear interaction with customers and team members/manager
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Time management is key
- Dependability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps effectively
