We are seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team at Monument-Urso Surveying Ltd. The successful candidate will lead a field crew in performing a variety of land surveying tasks, such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.
Responsibilities
- Lead a field crew in performing a variety of land surveying tasks, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.
- Operate survey instruments and equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data and documentation.
- Interpret and analyze survey data to prepare accurate and detailed survey reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a survey party chief.
Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient in the use of survey instruments and equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
- Experience with AutoCAD and other survey-related software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and quality.
