Champion Electric is hiring certified Journeyperson Electricians in Manitoba! Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and agricultural settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations
- Troubleshoot wiring issues, circuits, and electrical components to identify and correct faults
- Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and company safety standards
- Work independently or collaboratively on new construction, renovations, and service calls
- Perform preventive maintenance and electrical upgrades to existing systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain organized job records and report progress or issues to supervisors
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
- Proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work; agricultural experience an asset
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, and safety practices
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Skilled in diagnosing electrical problems and implementing effective solutions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Current driver’s license with a clean driving record
