Sandwich & Breakfast Assistant
Shakey’s Home-Style Cuisine & Deli – Downtown Ottawa
We are looking for a reliable and friendly person to join our team for a Sandwich & Breakfast Assistant position in a busy downtown food court location.
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to become full-time after 3 months based on performance and reliability.
Training is provided for qualified candidates.
Pay: $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience and performance.
Duties include:
- Preparing sandwiches and breakfast items
- Basic food prep and kitchen help
- Serving customers and handling orders
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Assisting team members during busy hours
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic English communication skills
- Food service experience is an asset
