We're looking for one creative individual to become one of the founding members of the MYA International Pregnancy, Parenting & Baby Show—Toronto's newest multicultural baby and parenting event.
This is more than just posting on Instagram.
We're looking for someone who wants to help build a brand from the ground up, tell meaningful stories, connect with families, and create an online community that celebrates pregnancy, parenting, culture, and childhood.
If you're already the person your friends ask for Instagram advice, love making reels or TikToks, enjoy engaging with people online, and want real-world experience growing a brand, we'd love to meet you.
About MYA
The MYA International Pregnancy, Parenting & Baby Show is launching this December in Toronto.
Our mission is to celebrate pregnancy, parenting, babies, and family life through a multicultural lens by bringing together incredible brands, healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations under one roof.
We're building something special and we're looking for someone excited to grow with us.
Your Role
As our Founding Social Media & Community Manager, you'll help shape the online voice of MYA while building excitement leading up to the show.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn content
- Scheduling and publishing posts
- Writing captions and engaging with our online community
- Responding to comments and direct messages when appropriate
- Helping coordinate Instagram Live sessions and interviews with exhibitors, sponsors, and guest speakers
- Building relationships with local parenting creators and community influencers
- Helping grow awareness of the show across diverse cultural communities throughout Ontario
- Brainstorming fresh content ideas and creative campaigns
This is a collaborative role where your ideas won't just be welcomed...they'll be encouraged.
Time Commitment
Approximately 1–2 flexible hours per week, working remotely.
As the event gets closer, there may be opportunities to become more involved if your schedule allows, but the weekly commitment is intentionally designed to fit around school or work.
