Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant university degree; master’s degree preferred. (We will occasionally consider exceptional senior undergraduates)
  • Background in a humanities discipline such as English, History or Philosophy, or some comparable experience involving a high level of reading and critical-thinking skills
  • Teaching, TA, or tutoring experience in a university setting is preferred
  • Successful completion of our rigorous TPR Instructor Certification Program, including successful completion of qualifying exam
  • Excellent presentation skills and oral/communication skills appropriate/relevant to test type and students (typically second- and third-year undergraduate science majors)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and work independently utilizing The Princeton Review course materials
  • Ability to manage and prioritize classroom/online student needs and job responsibilities
  • Ability to work during the day over the summer at least 1-2 mornings per week is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work nights and weekends a plus
