Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Screen Printing Machine Operator to join our client's production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphic design principles and technical skills related to printing processes, ensuring efficient production while maintaining excellent visual standards.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:00PM to 11:30PM
Duties
- Set up and operate screen printing machines according to job specifications and quality standards
- Load and unload garments and materials as required
- Select the proper thread, fabric, hoops, designs, colours and placement based on order
- Operate and monitor multiple machines at the same time
- Cut backing, trim threads, and complete finishing work on products
- Inspect printed products for quality, color accuracy, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Skills
- Previous embroidery, screen printing or machine operation experience
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production specs, colours and placement details
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete quality checks accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and comfortable working with garments, materials and machines
- Operate multiple machines, manage priorities and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to operate screen printing machinery efficiently and troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
