Data Engineer
Key Requirements
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines for scalable data ingestion and transformation supporting batch and real-time data processing
- Implement and optimize Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) across cloud and on-premises environments
- Manage hybrid data infrastructure across on-premises systems and cloud platforms ensuring performance and consistency
- Lead development of batch data pipelines ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
- Proven hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
- Strong experience with on-premises databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Azure SQL
- Strong expertise in implementing Medallion Architecture and data lakehouse solutions
- Experience designing, building, and optimizing batch data pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with pipeline orchestratio n tools
- Strong fundamentals in data warehousing and data lake design
- Familiarity with modern data engineering best practices
Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
