Position
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in leading assurance engagements, managing client relationships, mentoring junior team members, and delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead compilation, review, and audit engagements for private companies and not-for-profit organizations.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with ASPE and CSRE 2400.
- Review corporate income tax (T2) returns and supporting working papers.
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with professional standards.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior accountants.
- Assist with client onboarding and implementation of accounting processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and increase efficiencies.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver exceptional client service.
Job Qualifications
- CPA designation or currently in the final stages of obtaining your CPA designation.
- Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience with audit and assurance responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of: ASPE, CSRE 2400, Corporate Tax (T2), HST, Payroll
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Familiarity with corporate structures and articles of incorporation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Experience mentoring junior staff is considered an asset.
- Experience with CaseWare, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and willingness to travel within the GTA when required.

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
