Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vinyl Window Line Supervisor to lead manufacturing team of one of our companies in Brampton. This role is essential in overseeing daily operations on the vinyl window production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily vinyl window production line activities to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the assembly process.
- Utilize ERP systems, including SAP and MRP modules, to plan, schedule, and track production activities effectively.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on manufacturing best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and develop strategies for process optimization.
- Support the integration of mechanical knowledge into troubleshooting equipment issues and improving assembly processes.
Qualifications
- MUST have experience in Vinyl Windows and Doors manufacturing supervision.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vinyl window assembly processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, along with MRP functionalities for production planning.
- Experience implementing process improvements using Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement strategies.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles relevant to manufacturing environments.
- Ability to lead teams effectively, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and quality control.
- Prior experience with process automation or ERP system integration is a plus.
Job location: Brampton by Queen St E & Airport Rd
Shift timings: 7:15 am - 3:30 pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $85,000.00 per year
