Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Production Manager
Work Schedule: Regular, Full-Time, Days, Occasional Overtime

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, mechanical and electrical repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment and machinery as required.
- Replace defective components and ensure proper equipment operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with design and implementation of new fixtures and machinery.
- Maintaining a clean work environment;
- Adhering to all company and government legislated policies and procedures; and
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a manufacturing facility as a maintenance technician.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting equipment and facility problems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:
- Steel-toed shoes
- Safety glasses
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing setting
- Occasional overtime
