What You’ll Be Doing
Advanced diagnostics on complex drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, and performance concerns
Diagnosing faults using OEM and aftermarket scan tools, wiring diagrams, oscilloscopes, and advanced testing equipment
Diagnosing and repairing light-duty diesel engine and emissions systems
Brakes, steering, suspension, engine, drivetrain, and electrical repairs
Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
Working closely with service advisors to deliver accurate diagnoses and exceptional customer service
What We’re Looking For
Red Seal Automotive Service Technician (Required)
Advanced diagnostic knowledge is mandatory. This is not an entry-level diagnostic position. You must be confident diagnosing complex electrical, drivability, engine performance, CAN bus/network communication, and intermittent faults without relying on trial-and-error parts replacement.
Strong understanding of light-duty diesel engines and diesel diagnostic procedures is required, including common rail fuel systems, turbochargers, emissions systems (DPF, DEF, SCR, EGR), and modern diesel engine management.
Proficient with scan tools, wiring diagrams, lab scopes, and systematic diagnostic procedures
Pride in producing quality work the first time
Positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
Valid BC Driver’s Licence
