We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated One on One Aide to join our vibrant daycare team. Responsibilities
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs or developmental challenges during daily activities.
- Assist children with routines such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing, ensuring comfort and safety at all times.
- Support classroom activities by helping implement lesson plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop tailored strategies that meet each child's unique needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviours, and any concerns to inform ongoing care plans.
- Support behavior management techniques that encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is mandatory.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR,
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus.
- Ability to manage classroom activities effectively while providing one-on-one support.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young children’s growth and well-being.
