Job Overview
We are seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours are to be determined, requiring 2 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is desired, with knowledge of dental assisting protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
