Are you a reliable truck driver who enjoys hands-on outdoor work? E Landscaping is looking for a motivated Landscape Labourer / Truck Driver to join our growing team. This position combines truck driving responsibilities with landscape construction and general labour duties on residential and commercial projects throughout the Ottawa area.

Responsibilities
- Operate trucks and trailers to safely transport materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites across Ottawa.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and machinery, including skid steers, forklifts, and construction materials when required.
- Assist landscape crews with installation projects, including interlock, planting, sod installation, mulching, grading, and excavation.
- Perform general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, moving materials, and site preparation.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance.
- Support excavation activities using equipment such as excavators when qualified.
- Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Perform site cleanup and ensure all work areas meet company safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and clients when required.
- Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and road laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid A, AR, or AZ Driver's License.
- Clean driving record and ability to provide a recent 3-year driver's abstract.
- Experience operating trucks and trailers (dump trailers, flatbeds, equipment trailers, etc.).
- Experience in landscaping, construction, interlock installation, or outdoor labour is considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with Ottawa roads and surrounding areas is an asset.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
