Role:
We have an immediate opening for a Lead Commercial Garage Door Service Technician located in the Kelowna Branch . Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, the Technician attends sites to install overhead garage doors. This role is a permanent, full time position.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Service/Installation Industry
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- CDI Certification is an asset but not a requirement
- Relevant safety training and tickets are an asset (such as Fall Protection, Forklift, First Aid, etc.)
- Experience servicing/installing overhead doors would be preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to work outside in all different weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat. Lifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, lying down, squatting and kneeling and managing equipment and tools required
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements including background check, drug, alcohol and health assessment
- New hire candidates will be required to provide a current Driver's Abstract at their own cost.
