Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food handling and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and service stations throughout shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service and breaking down after shifts.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs accurately.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
