Career Contacts is a fractional human resources and recruitment consulting firm, supporting companies throughout Canada and the US.
We provide support with permanent placements, temporary staffing, executive searches, HR consulting, and payroll management. We manage all phases of sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding and retaining.
Career Contacts is supporting our client in the search for a Part-Time Intermediate Accountant (Payroll Focus) to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll and accounting professional who can confidently manage payroll while also taking ownership of the accounting functions that support payroll.
Unlike a traditional payroll administration role, this position requires someone with a strong accounting background who understands payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be comfortable analyzing payroll data, improving existing reporting processes, and creating accurate journal entries with minimal training.
This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in both payroll and accounting and enjoys bringing structure and efficiency to payroll reporting.
