Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Tow Truck / Commercial Installer to join our growing team. This role focuses on installing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on tow truck bodies. If you’re skilled with your hands, detail-oriented, and passionate about heavy-duty equipment—this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new tow truck bodies onto truck chassis (wreckers, carriers, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair used towing equipment and related systems
- Perform hydraulic and electronic plumbing, routing, and wiring
- PTO and hydraulic pump installation, diagnostics, and repair
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of proven experience in a similar technician role
- Proven experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Safety-conscious with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with tow trucks, commercial chassis, or similar equipment is a strong asset
- Certifications in hydraulics or electrical systems are considered an advantage
