The Career Foundation is currently seeking Part Time Payment Desk Associate on behalf of one of our employer partners.
About the Role:
Our partner is seeking a dependable and customer-friendly individual to support front desk operations in a retail environment. This role primarily involves handling customer payments, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments accurately using POS systems (cash, debit, credit, and financing options)
- Assist customers with billing inquiries, receipts, and payment-related concerns
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily cash reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payment procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Support administrative tasks related to orders and invoices as needed
Schedule & Availability:
Part-time hours, primarily evenings and weekends
Typical shifts fall between:
- Weekday evenings (approx. 5 PM – 8 PM)
- Saturdays (daytime hours, approx. 9 AM to 5 PM)
- Sundays (afternoon hours, approx. 11 AM to 5 PM)
Additional hours may be required based on business needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, cashiering, or reception is required
- Comfortable handling payments and basic data entry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, reliable, and professional
