We are looking for a Guest Services Associate who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys creating meaningful connections with guests, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. This role is primarily focused on front desk operations, helping guests feel welcome from arrival to departure, while also providing occasional coverage for our Night Auditor team during vacations, sick calls, and other absences. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and service-focused manner, creating a positive first impression of Old House Hotel & Spa.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby environment.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments to support guest needs and operational readiness.
- Process guest payments, deposits, billing adjustments, and other financial transactions accurately.
- Review reservations and guest accounts to ensure accuracy of rates, billing instructions, and special requests.
- Maintain accurate communication between shifts using daily logs and department communication tools.
- Promote hotel services, amenities, and room upgrades in a professional and guest-focused manner.
- Follow hotel policies related to guest privacy, safety, security, and key control procedures.
- Complete shift balancing, daily reporting, and required operational checklists.
- Provide occasional coverage for Night Auditor shifts (9:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) during vacations, sick calls, and other operational needs.
- During Night Auditor coverage, complete overnight audit procedures, balance daily transactions, perform day-end processing, and prepare systems and reports for the next business day.
- Work independently during overnight operations while maintaining high standards of guest service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- MUST BE available to work various shifts including night audit shifts from 9pm to 7am. Weekend shifts, and holidays as required.
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year Guest Services experience preferred
- Front Office computer knowledge
- Accounting experience preferred
- MS Office experience
- Proven attention to detail
- Superior grooming standards
- Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills

Experience:
