As a Night Auditor, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth overnight hotel operations. This position combines front desk guest service with accounting and daily financial reconciliation responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for assisting late-night guests, handling check-ins/check-outs, balancing daily transactions, and preparing reports to support the next business day.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable working overnight shifts.
- Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and room requests
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly
- Process payments, invoices, refunds, and billing adjustments accurately
- Perform nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Generate daily reports for management and accounting teams
- Ensure accuracy of guest accounts, room charges, and payment records
- Monitor hotel security and maintain a safe, quiet environment during overnight hours
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams when required
- Maintain front desk organization and ensure smooth overnight operations
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, customer service, or night audit is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel management systems is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English required; French or additional languages are considered an asset
