Melrose Paving Co. Ltd. is located in the heart of Mississauga and we are looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team.
Through the years we have grown into a full service asphalt and concrete paving contractor with a capacity to undertake projects of all sizes within the commercial, industrial, municipal and homebuilding sectors. We work closely with property owners, facility and project managers, consulting engineers and developers on a daily basis to provide cost effective solutions for their specific projects. Our coverage has expanded over the years to include the Greater Toronto Area and its surrounding areas.
Job Responsibilities:
Running repair on off road heavy trucks
Repairs on bulldozers, graders, dump truck and excavators
Will require ability to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, determine extent of repair required, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Mobile repairs on the road is required
Keep maintenance reports and documentation
Maintain clean shop
Qualifications and skills needed:
421A Heavy Equipment License 1-2 years considered
Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
Must have necessary hand tools
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
