Summary
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in Guelph, Ontario. This role is vital in enhancing customer experiences and driving sales through excellent service and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain knowledge of products to effectively demonstrate and upsell items.
- Manage inventory and merchandising displays to optimize product visibility.
- Handle cash and perform cash register duties with precision.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness and organization in the store.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer interaction.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing transactions.
- Familiarity with merchandising principles is a plus.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
