About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team in West Edmonton. This position plays a key role in warehouse operations, including receiving inventory, preparing customer orders, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized facility. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts and reach trucks, holds a valid driver's licence, and is comfortable working in a regulated cannabis environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks in accordance with safety procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts as required
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
- Drive a 24-foot box truck for local deliveries and pickups when required (no air brake endorsement required)
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
- Support other warehouse and logistics activities as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Valid forklift certification required
- Experience operating both a forklift and a reach truck
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a 24-foot box truck for local transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Eligible to work in a regulated cannabis environment
