Job Overview:
We are seeking a fully trained VIOLIN LUTHIER to join our team. The position offers 5 shifts per week- Tuesdays to Saturdays, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional hours available.
This is a permanent position.
Requirements:
- must have your own set of hand tools (larger tools supplied by the shop)
- must be capable of performing all aspects of instrument set-up to professional standards
- must be able to perform all levels of repair on customer and shop instruments
- must be able to assess instruments for repairs and communicate with customers
- must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and professional
- must have flexibility, a positive attitude, and be able to work with a team
- being able to play violin, viola, cello, or double bass is an asset but not a requirement
