Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and reliable Subcontractors to join our general contracting business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various skilled trades, including carpentry, plumbing, flooring installation, and tile laying. As a subcontractor, you will work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Perform construction tasks utilizing hand tools and power tools with precision and safety.
- Conduct carpentry work such as framing, finishing, and custom cabinetry installation.
- Execute plumbing repairs and installations following industry standards.
- Install flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile.
- Lay tiles with attention to detail for aesthetic and durability standards.
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure water-tight and weather-resistant finishes.
- Engage in restoration projects involving surface repairs, repainting, or surface preparation.
- Follow project timelines and safety protocols while maintaining a clean work environment.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices across multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying.
- Experience in restoration work is a plus.
- Skilled in construction painting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project demands.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic to succeed in this role. Prior experience in the construction industry is highly valued for this position.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
