We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal parts.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery such as press brake machines for bending and shaping metal materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Perform welding tasks as needed to assemble components securely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Use basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Skills
- Proficient in operating cranes, forklifts, and various CNC machinery including CNC laser cutting and CNC programming.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in machining processes, including the use of calipers for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques to ensure product integrity.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
