We are looking for a detail-oriented and locksmith to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing lock and door installation, repair, and replacement services for our commercial customers. You must have excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer needs and advise on appropriate solutions
- Install, repair, replace or re-key locksets, doors, hinges, pivots, automatic doors (training will be provided)
- Test functionality of service
- Maintain accurate records of all completed work orders
- Remain up-to-date on industry best practices and techniques
- Handle customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a locksmith (License is not mandatory, will train)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Knowledge of standard tools used in locksmithing work
- Exceptional problem solving abilities
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal & written
Job Types: Internship / Co-op, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: $25.00-$42.00 per hour
