Title: Heavy Duty Cleaner
Location: Tsawwassen Mills (Shuttle Services are available from Scott Road Station and Kwantlen Polytechnic University - Surrey)
Status: Casual
Hourly Rate: $20.98 / hour
Schedule: Nights

What You Will Be Doing
- Ability to operate industrial and or heavy-duty cleaning machines and equipment; including but not limited to auto scrubbers and sweeping machines, leaf blowers, pressure washers etc
- Lifting and transporting heavy items or objects
- Clean, disinfect, and sanitize high-touch and high-traffic areas to maintain a safe environment
- Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and spot cleaning
- Clean and maintain all building common areas, including hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, elevators
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from waste bins on a regular basis.
- Spot clean interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, and windowsills
- Complete cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing of all facilities, with a focus on washrooms and designated client spaces
- Maintain and service client-specific spaces and complete other duties as directed
- Snow removal and salting the public walkways
What You'll Bring
- Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, sweepers, or pressure washers is required
- Ability to lift and transport heavy items or objects up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Experience performing professional janitorial duties in high-traffic public spaces is required
- The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s)
- Knowledge of WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is not required but considered an asset
