Our client is a
well-established Canadian manufacturer and distributor specializing in piping systems and fittings for the commercial, industrial, and infrastructure markets. With a national footprint, the company is experiencing strong growth driven by continued investment and strategic acquisitions.
Its products are used in essential infrastructure projects such as water and wastewater systems, underground utilities, as well as large-scale commercial and industrial developments.
As part of its continued growth and a succession plan linked to upcoming retirements, our client is seeking a dynamic
Sales Representative to strengthen and expand its presence
across the Moncton territory and surrounding regions.
The Opportunity
This is not an inside sales or desk-based role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers, visiting job sites, and building long-term relationships with contractors, installers, and distribution partners.
You will act as the face of the company within your territory and
play a key role in influencing product specifications on construction projects while actively supporting the distribution network.
In this role, you will spend your time:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, installers, and distributors
- Visiting active construction sites and ongoing projects
- Delivering technical presentations, lunch & learns, and customer events
- Influencing product selection with key stakeholders
- Identifying new business opportunities and driving territory growth
- Providing excellent customer service as a trusted partner to your accounts
The Ideal Profile
We are looking for an energetic, credible, and relationship-driven professional.
You understand the importance of being present in the field and are equally comfortable in a boardroom or on a construction site.
Candidates with experience in the following sectors will be strongly considered:
- Distribution
- Plumbing
- Piping / Pipe systems
- Building materials
- Electrical
- Industrial products
Ideally, you bring:
- Experience in outside sales or account management
- Strong understanding of distribution networks and contractor relationships
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- High level of autonomy and organization
- Bilingualism (French/English) is essential
