Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The Server will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and serving
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while catering to guest preferences
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling payments accurately
- Experience with food safety procedures, food preparation, and kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Pay: $17.65-$19.00 per hour
