Heavy Equipment Operator
The successful applicant will be required to live in a remote camp with 7 individuals, on a shift of 14 days in 7 days off. Locations range from Sudbury to White River. Must be able to work independently, complete project training, daily maintenance checks, perform general maintenance and keep your machine clean. Have the ability to work efficiently using large heavy equipment. Experience traveling on bush roads and remote camp life an asset. You must have a valid drivers lic with a vehicle to get to and from the remote site.
The applicant must be able to speak english fluently, maintain personal hygiene, personal work space and help maintain shared work space.
Must come equipped with PPE; Hard hat, gloves, steel toe boots, and Hi Vis work wear.
Have a general understanding of how equipment works.
Harvesting or skidding certificate is an asset.
