We are looking for senior builders and architects who can design and implement agentic workflows that are secure, observable, policy-gated, approval-aware, and production-ready. PrismWorks AI is a services-led, platform-minded enterprise AI enablement company. This role focuses on governed agent workflows that can safely use tools, context, APIs, and human approval paths inside real enterprise environments. The Work You will help design and build enterprise agent workflows that move beyond demos. The systems must have clear tool boundaries, policy checks, observability, evidence capture, fallback paths, and integration discipline. This role is for people who understand enterprise-grade agent systems, workflow boundaries, integration constraints, and operational failure modes. Responsibilities Design agent workflow architectures for enterprise use cases. Implement tool-calling, MCP-enabled tools, retrieval, and context integration patterns. Define human approval checkpoints and safe write-action boundaries. Build policy-gated execution, evidence-backed verification, and incident replay patterns. Integrate agents with APIs, workflow platforms, data systems, and enterprise applications. Collaborate with cloud, data, governance, integration, and delivery associates. Create reusable reference architectures, implementation templates, and review checklists. Support technical discovery, architecture reviews, pilots, and production hardening. Strong Fit Senior software engineering, architecture, distributed systems, automation, or AI application background. Practical experience building LLM or agentic applications beyond simple chat interfaces. Strong understanding of APIs, workflow orchestration, identity, access control, observability, and failure handling. Ability to write clear architecture notes and implementation plans. Comfortable with regulated or high-control delivery environments. Useful Experience Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, open models, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, custom orchestrators, or model gateway patterns. MCP tools, tool calling, function calling, RAG, retrieval, workflow engines, queues, events, or service APIs. Policy engines, approval flows, evals, audit trails, observability, incident replay, or production support. Engagement Model Associates are engaged through independent contractor agreements for defined scopes. Project availability depends on client demand, role fit, and scheduling. Associates should be available for core collaboration hours aligned to Canada/USA time zones, and some engagements may require availability in the client's timezone. Express Interest Send a short note with your agentic systems, AI engineering, integration, or distributed systems background; your preferred engagement model, location/time zone, and working-hour constraints; and links to relevant work, GitHub, architecture examples, writing, or production systems.
