Seasonal/Summer Campground Helper
Job description:
Blue Sky RV Resort is an RV Campground located north of Shelburne. We are looking for team members that have a positive attitude, are hardworking, love the outdoors and enjoy a fun, fast-pasted and dynamic work environment.
This position is a seasonal/summer casual employee that works in a team environment to help create an amazing experience for our customers. This position is mostly weekends and some days during the week. The positions starts in mid April and ends in mid-October. This position includes but is not limited to the following: Working Outdoors, Lawn and Garden maintenance, facilities maintenance, stacking firewood, pool cleaning, washroom cleaning, garbage pickup, working in the camp store, answering phones and helping with events.
Required:
- Valid G Drivers License
- Have their own vehicle to get to work
- Friendly and polite
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Hardworking, dedicated
- Likes fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Can work in a team, and independently
- Can work weekends
- Good math skills, can count money
- Ability to drive a golf cart
- Ability to operate weed whipper, leaf blower
- Ability to operate lawn mowers
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to work outside in varied weather conditions
- Able to do physical labour outdoors
- Able to stand for sustained periods of time
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- lawn and garden maintenance
- weeding gardens
- blowing leaves
- stacking and moving firewood

- cleaning washrooms
- garbage pickup
- moving picnic tables and furniture
- general customer service in store
- operating cash register
- good math skills, can count money
- stocking shelves
- assisting with events
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $16.60-$17.60 per hour
